My caravanning holidays started in the 90's but in an old 1977 Elddis, so at the time even then it was an old caravan and now STILL go away in an old caravan, actually, older!

My caravanning life started at only a few months old, being born on new years eve, winter caravanning wasn't the done thing so much back then.

I have caravanned all over England and Wales, mostly spending my young caravan holidays on Anglesey, touring the island for anything from a weekend to a few weeks holiday.

Fast forward a few years, I bought my own 1987 ABI Ace Diplomat, a tiny two berth caravan, and since then I've owned many, but mainly classics as well as modern caravans. The classics for me is a love, it's not so much that it takes me back rather that they have a great feel, cosy and warm. I do miss the luxuries of a shower, but I'm working on that!

I have actually been to more places not only in England but into Europe too with the club, the classics travel further, our favourite being our 1975 Mustang Pinto, that I didn't actually want. Of all the caravans I've ever had its the one I've kept the longest. March 2017, I brought it home, not wanting it, used it to my first rally with the club, Chilford hall, and the caravan stays to enjoy much more touring.

After my long stint as a member, I was, with some reluctance, coerced onto the committee, all to help this little club carry on with its running and to enjoy rallying with the many friends I have made up and down the country.
